EventsThe Park County Fairgrounds is the perfect venue for any type of event. The fairgrounds has two spacious multi-purpose halls, two kitchens – one a certified commercial kitchen, several conference rooms, barns, arenas and outdoor entertainment spaces. The Park County Fairgrounds is truly the place to host your next event. Your wedding, meeting, fundraiser, family reunion or party can all be hosted in one of our many rental facilities. The annual Park County Fair is held every year at the fairgrounds in July.
Weddings & ReceptionsThe Park County Fairgrounds is the place to hold your wedding and / or reception. Our grounds feature both outdoor and indoor options as well as spaces large enough to accommodate your special day all in one location. You may also choose to select several facilities to make your celebration truly one of a kind.
The Heart Mountain Center is sure to wow you and your guests. It is a wonderful spot for larger wedding receptions featuring high ceiling, intimate lighting options and plenty of space to host a dance as well as dinner. The hall connects to both the certified commercial kitchen, the perfect location for preparing hors d'oeuvres and meals for your guests, and the two conference rooms which work well as dressing or staging area.
The Grove is a beautiful grassy outdoor setting nestled between several trees. This splendid option feature an open air gazebo which can be decorated to suit your taste and style, plenty of space for seating and privacy.
The Green is an excellent option for an outdoor venue wedding and reception. It is also large enough to accommodate a tent or awning.
Anniversary & Birthday Celebrations/ Bridal or Baby ShowersWhether you need a large room for hundreds of guests or a small intimate setting, the Park County Fairgrounds has the perfect location to host your celebration or shower.
The Extension Meeting Room is a great space for a small event. The room comfortably holds 40 guests and features a small kitchenette. This is a wonderful space for an intimate gathering.
The Conference Rooms in the Events Center are very versatile and can be used as one large space or divides into two smaller rooms. With accommodations for 55, this is a great option for your celebration.
ReunionsWe have it all! Your family will love getting together at the fairgrounds! We have multiple camping sites, hot showers (spring & summer) and a great outdoor or indoor space for preparing and eating meals.
The Green is an ideal location for games, obstacle courses, volleyball or races. Also located on the green are 8 horse shoe pits for all to enjoy.
The Open Air Pavilion allows for eating and entertainment. Have a talent show on the stage while eating bbq on the 40+ picnic tables. The 4500 square foot space is also great for dancing.

Community EventsWith the vast array of facility options, the fairgrounds is the place to hold any and all community activities and events. Prom, Homecoming Olympics, The Elks Easter Egg Hunt, Community Thanksgiving and Powell Valley Medical Foundation Mardi Gras as well as multiple fundraising activities annually happen at the Park County Fairgrounds.

The Homesteader Hall & Kitchen is a large multi-purpose hall and kitchen with ample space to host shows, fairs and fundraisers.
Park County Fair - For more than 100 years, the Park County Fair has been the premiere annual event to celebrate Wyoming’s farming and agricultural roots. The fair features the culture, heritage and lifestyle of Park County and surrounding communities. The Park County Fair is a festival of everything Park County highlighting our agricultural way of life, livestock , youth, country artists, food, fun and so much more. The annual fair takes place the last full week of July and is a great time for the entire family. Come and create a lasting memory at the Park County Fair.

Livestock & Equestrian Events
The Horse Arenas have all you need to have an equestrian event at the fairgrounds. There are 112 horse stalls, a 276 x146 Roping Arena equipped with stripping chute, return alley and Four 20’ x 24’ holding pens, large riding/warm up arena and 50’ round pen. There is plenty of parking for trailers, bleacher seating for guests and contestants as well as a crow’s nest with sound system
